I was hoping you’d do Christchurch Cathedral. Despite us staying about a block away from it, we didn’t actually make it inside. We wanted to, but always had other stuff to do, and then our last day was a Sunday, and of course we couldn’t go in. The Anglicans were more welcoming at St Audoen’s next door though. Are you going to get to St Patricks too? Johnathan Swift was the minister there in the 18th century. I didn’t get to it either. Plenty of things to do for next visit to Dublin…..

Well. Louise, the plan is to do the museums & the art gallery tomorrow – that means we don’t get to Malahide Castle, and probably not to St Pat’s either. There is always more to see than we have time for, but I’m content. After all, you had a moaning 9 year old, and I have an ankle that limits how much I can do in a day, but when all’s said and done we are so lucky really to be able to travel at all, don’t you agree?
